Auditions
The Cincinnati Shakespeare Company holds local auditions each year at the League of Cincinnati Theatre (LCT) Unified Auditions February 23 and 25, and casts a full season of up to 15 actors from this group. Auditions are by appointment only - click here for more information.
Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is represented at the Unified Professional Theater Auditions (UPTA) February 8 to 11, 2008, in Memphis, Tennessee, and the Southeast Theater Conference (SETC) March 5 to 9, 2008, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Submissions without a full-sized (at least 8x10) headshot will not be considered. After résumé review, actors will be contacted on an individual basis to set up audition times. No phone appointments will be accepted.
Now Casting for 2008/2009 Season
Many talented individuals will be cast for this spectacular season, including at least five Young Company members and Guest Artists. All roles are paid, and the Company is an AEA house (SPT5+). Minorities, equity, and non-equity actors are encouraged to apply.
Interested actors should have professional acting experience and a strong background in Shakespeare or classical theater, and must be available for work from July 2008 through June 2009. Guest Artists are contracted on a show-by-show basis. A positive attitude is a must.
