Located only a few blocks from CSC, Washington Platform was built in 1860 as a saloon and restaurant and operated until Prohibition. Its current incarnation opened in 1986, and is justly famous for its annual Oyster Festival, summer clambakes and inventive pastas, along with other seafood selections. Lots of salads and sandwiches round out the reasonably priced menu.
