Teaching one of Shakespeare's most popular plays? Shakespeare in a Box brings two or three professional actors into your classroom to perform an iconic scene, a famous monologue, and lead a Shakespeare workshop including an introduction to Shakespeare, the language, and performance skills focused on one of the following renowned plays: Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Julius Caesar, A Midsummer Night's Dream, or Hamlet. An in-depth teaching tool brings three Cincinnati Shakespeare Company professional actors into your classroom to perform and discuss scenes from any Shakespeare play. Each program is tailored to the needs of your class. Appropriate for fourth grade and up.
