Two Hours’ Traffic

The Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's Touring Company, comprised of six professional actors from across the country, will be touring A Midsummer Night's Dream and Macbeth in the 2008-2009 school year. These productions clock in right at two hours, and the Touring Company can perform in almost any space (approximately 15' x 20'), including gyms, theaters, libraries, etc. The show concludes with a question-and-answer session to allow the students to talk with the actors and gain new insight into the play. Appropriate for sixth grade and up.

A Midsummer Night's Dream
What happens when feuding fairies meddle in the love lives of human couples?  Comical adventures, mistaken identities, and a silly play-within-a-play!  In this whimsical forest, a happy ending is guaranteed for both sprites and mortals alike.

 Macbeth
In Shakespeare's most famous murder mystery, three mystical witches and one angry ghost unearth the violent truth behind the rise of Scotland's newest royalty,  the manipulative Lord and Lady Macbeth.  Will the scheming couple pay the ultimate price for their bloody sins?
